Together with GUNIA, we created an exclusive candle inspired by Ukrainian decorative wall paintings from the 18th to the early 20th century. These traditional motifs once adorned the walls of homes—around windows, stoves, beneath the ceiling, and above beds. They were a cultural code of home: a language of warmth, protection, beauty, and harmony. In the KAN × GUNIA candle, these ornaments are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. Flowers, birds, and rhythmic borders come to life on the ceramic cat vessel—a symbol of the Ukrainian home, deeply rooted in tradition while embracing modern living. In Ukrainian tradition, a cat was always the first to enter a new home. It was believed to sense the space, bring comfort, and protect the household. We gift this candle to everyone who purchases an apartment at Biorhythm—as the first light of a new home, a symbol of a fresh beginning, and a space that gradually finds its own unique rhythm, in harmony with yours.
