How the war has changed the housing market in the capital: Igor Nikonov’s view for Delo.ua
90% of our buyers choose KAN Development because of the presence of A+ Education Holding schools and kindergartens directly within our residential complexes. During wartime, safe education has become not a bonus, but a critical necessity for every family. Today, KAN is building two schools as part of its projects, while half of Kyiv’s developers have completely frozen their operations. The conditions are the same for everyone: a shortage of qualified workers, rising material costs, and systemic obstacles. The difference lies in the financing approach. We do not use cross-financing between projects, which allows us to deliver buildings without delays even during the war. A halt in the sector creates a systemic effect: people lose jobs, the state budget misses out on tax revenues, and the city loses infrastructure. Aging housing is not being renewed, and neighborhoods stop developing. These consequences accumulate and will affect the capital for years. That is why buyers today choose companies with real—not declarative—reputations, those who fulfill their promises regardless of circumstances. More on how the industry has changed and what builds trust in the real estate market today — in the new interview with KAN Development founder Igor Nikonov for Delo.ua: https://bit.ly/deloua_igor_nikonov Move to 🔷KAN!
